Ethan Woodis
M.S. Student
Ethan has a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from Pacific University. Since 2007 he has worked with wildlife research and conservation groups in Colorado and the Pacific Northwest studying a variety of mammals, amphibians, insects, fish, soil microbes, raptors and seabirds. He joined the Oregon Marbled Murrelet Project full-time in 2019 and starting Fall 2022 will be starting his M.S. thesis work looking at murrelet nest success and nest-site selection. When he isn't working he enjoys backpacking, traveling and playing his saxophone. Ethan is co-advised with Matt Betts in the Department of Forest Ecosystems, and Society at OSU.
