Funding

In 2015, the OSU College of Forestry received increased funding for research by the State Legislature. Backed by strong support from both the timber industry and conservation groups, the Oregon Marbled Murrelet Project was initiated in 2015 as a long term study to address the gaps in knowledge about the marbled murrelet in Oregon.
