Kim Nelson

The current focus of her research is on the ecology and habitat associations of seabirds in North America and Asia, specifically using modeling and habitat data to better understand and help resolve wildlife conservation and management issues.
Kim assists with all aspects of the project including study design, implementation, integrating research components, hiring, field research, and write up. She acts as the lead expert on existing murrelet research and data, and identifying opportunities for leveraging current resources to develop new research components.
